Discover Dodge CountyThis Father's Day, delight dad, with a visit to Dodge County. Whether it's soaking up the afternoon sun listening to half a dozen Wisconsin bands at Jersey Street Music Festival, savoring craft brews and local cheeses at the Taste of Wisconsin in Beaver Dam or stepping back in time at the Horse and Carriage Festival in Columbus, you will make dad's day special. No matter your interest in tastes or tunes, fun and relaxing experiences await dad and his clan in Dodge County.

Horicon, the city on the Marsh, makes way for Jersey Street Music Festival on Saturday, June 15. Beginning at 11 a.m. at Discher Park there will be a buzz with the musical talents of six Wisconsin bands. The schedule of bands include:

11 a.m. Wisconsin Conservatory of Music Samba Unit

Noon – Leroy Airmaster

1:20 p.m. – Colin O'Brien

2 p.m. – Blessed Feathers

4 p.m. – Glenview Lane

6 p.m. – Vitrolum Republic

This event in the heart of Horicon will also feature local chefs and restaurants serving up dad's favorites at the Taste of Horicon. In addition, the City of Horicon will donate $1 from each daily Horicon Aquatic pool pass sold on June 15th to the Discher Park Dance Hall restoration project.

Fifteen minutes down the road on Hwy. 33 to Beaver Dam, the Taste of Wisconsin features a craft beer and cheese tasting featuring the state's finest producers. The Chamber of Commerce on June 15, from noon to 4 p.m. in downtown Beaver Dam, will host the street party filled with live music, and four hours of sampling Wisconsin's best cheeses and beers. Tickets are available for $25 prior to the event or $30 day of event.

With each ticket, you receive a souvenir tasting glass, a souvenir program to let you evaluate each beer and cheese, unlimited sampling of over 100 Wisconsin Beers and over 60 Wisconsin Cheeses. To learn more or for tickets visit, http://www.tasteofwisconsin.net.

That's not all! You can step back in time at the Historic Fireman's Park in Columbus for Horse and Carriage Days, a free family weekend both Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16 highlighting the days of yesteryear. Just imagine an entire city transforming itself into the Victorian-era community it once was during the Civil War. The festival's featured event is the pleasure driving show with horse and carriage competitions. Also, don't miss an encampment of Civil War re-enactors, a grand parade of period horse-drawn carriages and Civil War reenactors, lawn parties, and more authentic activities to honor the community's role during the Civil War.
