Winners of the Minnesota FFA Association Career Development Events (CDE) were announced Tuesday at the fourth general session of the 83rd Minnesota FFA Convention at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

The first place team in each CDE earn the chance to represent Minnesota at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana at the end of October. CDEs are competitive activities that tests students' skills in all areas of their respective competition. Scholarships and events are sponsored.

The CDEs are one of many education activities at the state FFA convention in which FFA members practice the lessons learned in agricultural education classes.

The 83rd Minnesota FFA Convention was held April 22-24 in St. Paul and drew 3,000-plus FFA members, advisors and guests from across the state.
