Concerned about environmental regulations? Confused by federal agency policies? Exactly what does AgCompliance mean for you? If these are questions you've asked yourself on a regular basis, then you'll want to join the California Holstein Association at their 2014 State Convention. Being held January 30-February 1, 2014 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Monterey, the convention will not only include the standard venues of a sale, awards banquet and junior programs, but also a number of informative sessions that all producers would benefit from.
On Friday morning, January 31st, convention attendees will hear from a representative of AgComplicance (a division of Benzol). AgCompliance was created as a regulatory compliance consulting firm to help producers contend with increasing demands in environmental and regulatory compliance nationwide from Federal agencies such as the EPA, DOT, USCG and OSHA. AgCompliance partners with local agriculture service providers to deliver quality SPCC (spill prevention, control, countermeasures) solutions, expertise and support.
Although many policies and procedures can be daunting to learn about and implement, the solution is to find out as much information as possible, and talk to experts in the field. The California Holstein Association hopes you'll join us for this "industry expert" session and get the facts on moving forward in compliance.
Convention registration is due by Saturday, January 11th. You can find ticket order forms, hotel information and more at www.caholstein.com. We hope to see you there!
