The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) was recently awarded the Best of Show in Advertising and the Best of Show in Public Relations by the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) at the recent 2014 Region IV Best of NAMA Awards Banquet.
The National Agri-Marketing Association is recognized as the nation's largest association for professionals in marketing and agribusiness. Held at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee on January 23, the awards banquet honored the best work in agricultural marketing communications. Awards were given in 62 different categories, with two Best of Show awards as the coveted top honors. "This is the first time the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board has won both awards," says James Robson, CEO at WMMB.
WMMB's work won numerous awards, including First Place in Producer or Company-Funded Advertising Directed to Consumer and Best of Show for Advertising for the "Love Letters" print creative; First Place in Social Media and Best of Show for Public Relations for the Wisconsin Cheese 2013 Social Media Program; and Merit in Producer or Company-Funded Advertising Directed to Consumers for the out-of-home campaign that included billboard creative "Relax, it's ok to drool and drive," "Macaroni's better half" and "Obey your mouth." WMMB's recipe-focused online magazine, Grate. Pair. Share. received a Merit in Company and Association magazines External directed to farm customers, prospects or others serving agribusiness.
