FFA logoThe Wisconsin FFA Foundation is excited to announce the dates for its 2014 golf outings. The three regional events are slated for July 21 at the Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire, July 22 at the Royal St. Patrick's Golf Course in Wrightstown and July 28 at the Pleasant View Golf Course in Middleton. The final registration deadline is July 10, but participants signed up by June 20 will be entered into a drawing to win a cash prize.

Sponsorships and event registrations are now available online at
http://wisconsinffafoundation.org/golf_outings.php. The outings are an 18-hole, best-ball scramble format for teams of four golfers. The per golfer registration fee is $80 and includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, breakfast and lunch and the chance to win prizes. Individuals unable to attend the golf tournament are welcome to join in the fun at the awards luncheon for $15. The events are open to the public and will feature a celebrity guest.

"Our annual golf outings are the largest fundraising event for the Wisconsin FFA Foundation," says Sara Schoenborn, Wisconsin FFA Foundation executive director. "Company representatives and industry supporters look forward to the outings each year as they are able to support the future of agriculture while enjoying a friendly round of golf."

All proceeds from the golf outings will benefit the Wisconsin FFA Foundation's annual fund, which is the heartbeat of Wisconsin FFA and agricultural education's financial support. During the 2012-13 year, it supplemented 17 Proficiency Award areas and Career Development Events. The annual fund also significantly aided the 2013-14 state officer team training and leadership training materials.
