ADVANTA Advanta, a leading international supplier of proprietary agricultural crop genetics and seed, announces the hiring of Travis Kidd as technical development manager. Kidd will oversee product advancement efforts for Advanta within the United States. "Travis will work with our breeders and R&D personnel to guide product development and capitalize on our global pool of genetics," says Steve Ligon, U.S. business director for Advanta. "He will direct regional testing of seed advancements made from our worldwide network of researchers. This work will be instrumental in delivering new products to our Alta Seeds brand and our private label seed customers."
