broadheadThe Minnesota Pork Board (MPB) and the Minnesota Pork Producers Association (MPPA) recently selected broadhead to create a campaign targeting consumer influencers in the food industry. The campaign will strive to build a bridge between Minnesota pig farmers and consumer influencers to drive conversations on animal care and welfare.

Minnesota is second-ranked for the number of hogs its farmers raise, and second in the value of hogs that Minnesota farmers sell for processing into meat products. MPB promotes consumer pork consumption, research affecting pork production, and education on behalf of Minnesota's 4,000 pig farmers to raise animals safely and bring wholesome pork products to the marketplace. The MPPA is a membership organization for pork producers that works on public policy, issue management and lobbying.

"We are excited to partner with Minnesota Pork to elevate consumer knowledge about Minnesota pork production," says Kiersten Schroeder, vice president, account director at broadhead. "Minnesota pig farmers are ready to have more of a conversation with the people who purchase their products, and we look forward to helping facilitate these communications.
