Clayton Stoffel named Dairy Initiative Project Manager



Clayton StoffePapillon Agricultural Company hand-picked Clayton Stoffel for the newly created position of Dairy Initiative Project Manager. The Papillon Ag Dairy Initiative program is a new evaluation program designed to provide producers with information for improving nutritional efficiencies. This spring, Stoffel earned his master's degree in dairy science with an emphasis in nutrition from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2011, he likewise received his bachelors in dairy science from the university.

Papillon president David Briggs said, "Papillon is singularly dedicated to enhancing the farm and feed efficiency of North American dairy operations. Clayton has an important role to play in supporting the dairy feed industry and in assisting dairy producers in improving their nutritional efficiencies. We were clearly impressed with his background, knowledge of the industry, and commitment to making a difference."

Stoffel said, "I am excited to join the Papillon team and to have this opportunity to provide a valuable service to the dairy industry. This is a tremendous opportunity to begin realizing my goal of bridging the gap between academia and commercial production and to apply proven research. Stoffel brings first-hand knowledge of and experience with commercial dairies to the position. He grew up on a dairy farm in Kewaskum in southeastern Wisconsin.
