Recently, the Select Sires communications team was honored during the annual Cooperative Communicators Association (CCA) Institute conference held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Each year, members of CCA can enter the communications contest in the divisions of writing, publications, photography and programs and projects. Seasoned professionals serve as judges who offer instructional critiques and top-rated entries earn recognition at the annual CCA Institute Conference.

This year, the Select Sires team earned several accolades including Best of Show and first place in programs and projects with the promotional video “When a Champion is Born.” The team also earned first place in the illustration/graphic art category, second and third place in miscellaneous promotional, third place in improved publication and honorable mention for the Excellence in Communications Award.

CCA is an organization of 350 professionals who communicate for cooperatives. The association is unique in both its mission and membership. CCA works towards helping members excel in communications by providing learning opportunities – from writing and photography, to editing, video, layout, and design.
