The International Agri-Center and World Ag Expo presented a check in the amount of $65,000 to the California FFA Association during the organization's 84th Annual Leadership Convention on April 22nd in Fresno, California.

The check represents the total funds raised by FFA chapters who participated in World Ag Expo's FFA Toyota Tundra Giveaway by selling chances to win a new 2012 Tundra. The proceeds from the giveaway will directly benefit California FFA and its chapters.

"Thanks to Toyota and the World Ag Expo, FFA chapters throughout California have been able to enhance the leadership development opportunities for their students as a result of funds raised from this year's Toyota Tundra giveaway," said Bob Heuvel, state FFA advisor. "These funds have enabled students to attend leadership development conferences, participate on judging teams and conduct agricultural and community service projects."

For the fourth year, Toyota donated a new Tundra to the program which helps support FFA programs in schools throughout California. The $30,000 truck, won by Jamie Tatum of Tullahoma, Tennessee on the final day of World Ag Expo, was donated by the Central Valley Toyota dealers.

"This is a great partnership between Toyota, World Ag Expo and the California FFA," said Jerry Sinift, Chief Executive Officer, International Agri-Center. "We're pleased to continue supporting California FFA and its members through programs at World Ag Expo."
