Sassy Cow Creamery Unveils Tira-Moo-Su Winning Flavor of "Invent a Flavor Contest"

Ice-cream-loving-fan, Erin (Schwoerer) Jones of Columbus, Wis., invented Sassy Cow Creamery's latest sensation, Tira-Moo-Su. A twist on the classic Italian dessert made with ladyfingers and mascarpone cheese, Tira-Moo-Su is a coffee-flavored ice cream crafted from local, quality ingredients. Starting with Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics Mascarpone, local farm fresh cheese made with sweet cream; combined with cocoa and ladyfingers tossed in coffee and rum, Tira-Moo-Su is a heavenly ice cream experience with Italian flair. It will be a new favorite flavor for years to come.

Sassy Cow Ice Cream Maker, Juli Cooper congratulates Erin (Schwoerer) Jones on creating the winning flavor, Tira-Moo-Su, from Creamery's "Invent a Flavor Contest". Jones, holding the ice cream cone topped off with Tira-Moo-Su ice cream receives a one year supply of Sassy Cow Ice Cream

Jones along with Juli Cooper, one of three ice cream makers at Sassy Cow unveiled the new flavor at the Creamery's recent Ice Cream Social. Jones was honored at the flavor tasting event with a one-year supply of Sassy Cow Creamery Premium Farmstead Ice Cream.

Along with Tira-Moo-Su, born from a field of 500 entries, Sassy Cow ice cream makers went to work to craft six new ice cream flavors. New flavors include: Turtle Delight, Blueberry Cardamom, Cotton Candy, Strawberry Balsamic, Coconut and most popular flavor winning the People's Choice Vote is Lemon Meringue Pie ice cream. The six new flavors are available for a limited time only at the farmstead creamery store, located just north of Sun Prairie.

Sassy Cow Creamery Farmstead Ice Cream is freshly made using milk produced by cows on the Baerwolf family dairy farms and other high-quality ingredients.

The Creamery is owned and operated by third-generation dairy producers-brothers James and Robert Baerwolf and their families. Visitors at the farmstead facility can follow the milk from cow to creamery as they watch traditional and organic milk bottling and premium ice cream making through a viewing window.
