More than $50,000 offered for three Jersey shows in three days at the Kentucky Exposition Center


The finest Registered Jerseys™ in the world will take center stage when The 60th All American Jersey Show & Sale returns November 3, 4 and 5 to the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Ky.

Premiums totaling $45,125 will be offered for three shows. Last year's All American assembled nearly 600 Registered Jerseys™ under one roof, making it the largest single-site exhibition of Jerseys in the United States and the world for 2011.

The All American Junior Jersey Show is scheduled for Saturday, November 3. Chris Lahmers, Marysville, Ohio, will judge with Sean Johnson, Glenville, Penna., serving as his consultant. This is one of the richest junior shows in the world with $9,625 in premiums offered for 2012, plus an additional $5,000 in exhibitor support provided by the American Jersey Cattle Association.

The 59th National Jersey Jug Futurity on Sunday, November 4 will award premiums estimated at $10,000. It will be judged by Dean Dohle, Half Way, Mo. His consultant will be Thomas "Moss" McCauley, Lowell, Mich.

The open division of The All American Jersey Show is set to take place on November 5 and will be judged by Kevin Lutz, Lincolnton, N.C. His consultant will be Kevin Williams, McConnelsville, Ohio

The first and second place entries in each class of all shows will be named the All American and Reserve All American winners for 2012 by the American Jersey Cattle Association. The shows will be streamed live from Freedom Hall via webcast.

Two sales, both managed by Jersey Marketing Service of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, will also occur that same weekend.

The 60th All American Jersey Sale, the premier showcase for Registered Jersey™ genetics in the United States, will offer 62 lots on the evening of Sunday, November 4. The extraordinary offering includes 30 females with A.I. contract interest and female offspring of two living Excellent-97% cows, the four-time All American KCJF Regency Treasure and two-time National Grand Champion Pleasant Nook F Prize Circus. Two high genomic-proven bulls will also sell to limited-size syndicates.

The 55th Pot O'Gold Sale on Saturday, November 3, will feature 35 genomic-evaluated heifers that can only be purchased by youth between seven and 20 years of age. Presenting Sponsor of the sale is Cow's Match® Jersey Blend from Land O'Lakes Animal Milk Products Co.

Both sales will be broadcast live with online bidding capabilities by Jersey Auction Live.
