Enhanced functionality streamlines information management for healthier flocks and herds
IDEXX Laboratories announces the release of IDEXX xChekPlus® software, facilitating diagnostic data management for disease and vaccination monitoring of livestock herds and poultry flocks. xChekPlus enhances the functionality of xChek® software, which is used daily by diagnostic laboratories worldwide. IDEXX xChekPlus software has multilingual capabilities and "plug in" architecture that gives laboratories and livestock and poultry veterinarians the flexibility to install new assays, readers and reports as they become available. The software provides improved data export, customized controls and comprehensive reports, including the Deventer formula for infectious bursal disease (IBD) vaccine date estimation in poultry, the Johne's Management Report and the Bovine Pregnancy Report.
"With xChekPlus, customers can establish their own baselines rather than rely on titer ranges from different epidemiological conditions. Color-coded reports instantly alert customers to variances from their historical baselines, giving customers the information they need to implement remedial measures quickly," says Pablo Lopez, DVM, Global Senior Poultry and Swine Marketing Manager at IDEXX. "And in herd and flock management, responding quickly to potential health threats is critical to maximizing health and productivity."
IDEXX xChekPlus software has a user-friendly, multilingual interface and integrates with widely used laboratory information management systems, such as USALIMS and STARLIMS, as well as custom systems. The software includes increased database storage capacity and comes preloaded with the complete portfolio of IDEXX assays.
