The annual Exhibitor Party was the place to relax and socialize.

On Tuesday evening of World Dairy Expo, hundreds of trade show exhibitors gathered in the Exhibition Hall to enjoy food, beverages, and conversation. From long-time attendees to first-year trade show exhibitors, all were welcomed to spend some time relaxing at the Exhibitor Party after the first day of the show.

For more than 25 years, World Dairy Expo and Hoard’s Dairyman have been co-hosting an Exhibitor Party for company representatives working in the trade show. Gary Vorpahl, recently retired Vice President of Marketing for Hoard’s Dairyman, was involved in the creation of the very first event.

He explained that originally, both Hoard’s Dairyman and World Dairy Expo were both hosting appreciation events for trade show representatives. They decided to join forces and put together one larger event to provide attendees with more food and entertainment options. Each year, they plan for upwards of 700 attendees.

Vorpahl said that one goal of the event is to allow Hoard’s Dairyman staff and exhibitors to reconnect at the beginning of the show. It’s also an opportunity for people to “talk shop” and catch up in a low-key atmosphere. For more than two decades, it has been the perfect way for exhibitors to end Day One of World Dairy Expo!
