American Guernsey Association appraiser, Brian Schnebly evaluated the Hoard's Dairyman Guernsey herd on September 27 and 28. His visit was just days before hundreds of visitors will tour the farm while at World Dairy Expo.


A highlight was a cow that was raised to EX-94 with an excellent udder. Her name is Rolling Prairie Bella Blue and made over 30,000 pounds of milk and 1246 pounds of fat last lactation. She is sired by Rolling Prairie Maxie Pistol. She has one daughter in the herd.

New excellents


Jan made over 28,000 pounds of milk and 1300 pounds of fat last lactation. She is sired by Idle Gold E Challenge-ET. She is backed by two EX-91 dams with top production.

Another new excellent is Dairyman Challenge Dalite. She's the dam of a bull that was syndicated at national convention this year. Last year she completed a record of 29,971 M 5.3 1580 F 3.8 1153 P. The grandam is Rutter Bros Royal Oaks Dawn EX-92 EX-92-MS.
