Dressed in bright orange shirts, junior Holstein exhibitors kicked off the the first show of Expo. Judge Chris Lahmers of Ohio and his associate judge, Pat Conroy of Indiana placed 242 entries. This was an uptick in numbers from past years. The brother and sister team, Jordan and Whitney Ebert of Algoma, Wis. garnered top honors of Intermediate and Grand Champion with their Senior Three-Year-Old, Siemers Goldwyn Goldie-ET.


Shady-Row Dundee Daphne, exhibited by Coy Campbell of Gratz, Pa., was selected as the Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion of the Show.

The Reserve Senior Champion Female of the Junior Show was Four-Hills Dundee Rene-ET, Elizabeth & Britney Hill, Bristol, Vt. Reserve Intermediate Campion Female of the Junior Show was Macland San My Button-ET, exhibited by Anna Culbertson, Elgin, Minn.

Champion Bred & Owned of the Junior Show was a paternal sister to the Grand Champion Cow. Siemers Alisha Gold Ava-ETS is bred and owned by Crystal Siemers-Peterman, of Newton, Wis.

Junior Champion Female of the Junior Show went to Purple-Fever Dempsey Sam, owned by Taylor Morrill, Dekalb Junction, N.Y. Reserve Junior Champion Female of the Junior Show was Gebarten Allwyn Gloss, owend by Paige Morrill, Dekalb Junction, N.Y. Gloss was also named Junior Champion Bred & Owned of the Junior Show.
