Grand Champions at International Red and White Show 2012




Blondin Redman Seisme-Red repeated her Grand Champion title from 2010. MilkSource Genetics is the exhibitor of this winning 6-Year-and-Over Cow. Taking home Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand Champion honors was Starmark Ad Hotstuff-Red-ET. Hotstuff is owned by the partnership of Nathan Thomas, Michael Heath and Will Iager of Ohio.

Daughter of Apple-Red, last year's Grand Champion Red & White, Ms Candy Apple-Red-ET was named Honorable Mention Senior Champion. Candy Apple is owned by Frank and Diane Borba and Frank and Carol Borba of California.

Honorable Mention Grand Champion was MD-Hillbrook Sunburst-Red-ET, owned by Gene Iager, Kevin Ehrhardt and Eric Dupasquier. She was the winning Sr. 3-Year-Old and Intermediate Champion. Reserve Intermediate Champion was the winning Milking Yearling, Greenland Destry Laurel, exhibited by Westcoast Holsteins of Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Two heifers that have been doing well this show season rose to the top in the heifer show. The Junior Champion Female title was bestowed on Duckett P Lucy-Red, owned by Westcoast Holsteins of Chilliwack, British Columbia. Taking Reserve Junior Champion honors was Whitdale-D Hvezda Sky-Red, exhibited by Chris and Jennifer Hill, C & S Umbel and Richard Green of Maryland.

Junior Winners:
In the Junior Show, a pair of Advent daughters could not be split. Grand Champion went to Kyle Natzke of Wisconsin and Kyle Demmer of Iowa, who jointly own Ms Del-Hollow Javent-Red. This 5-Year Old was the top junior entry of the show. Taking the reserve title was fellow Wisconsinite, Brett Hildebrandt with his homebred entry of Milgene Advn Jezabel-Red-ET. This 4-Year-Old was also named Best Bred and Owned junior entry.

Junior Champion of the Junior show was the winning Winter Yearling, Gleneil Stirl Bo Double-Red-ET (by Sterling) owned by Laura Emerson of Delaware. Reserve Junior Champion of the Junior Show was Pheasant-Echos Re (Reality-Red) Diego-Red, the winning Fall Calf exhibited by Trinity Miller of Maryland.

Premier Breeder went to Greenlea, as they also won the winning Senior Best Three Females. Premier Exhibitor was awarded to MilkSource Genetics again this year.

Judge Justin Burdette, of Pennsylvania and Associate Judge Steve Shaw placed 260 Red and Whites.
