Intro classes have traditional farm tours. Students also travel to WDE, go on a mid west US tour, and visit Belize. Formal academic exchanges are in place with Universities in other countries (Cal Poly Wageningen, Sydney, Royal Agricultural College)

Additional Information:

Dairy is the largest livestock sector in Ontario. They have an Animal Science Program with a heavy emphasis on dairy. Our supply managed dairy industry is sheltered from the vagaries of world price fluctuations and is reliably profitable and provides excellent career opportunities. Jobs exceed the supply of graduates, with most having good entrance salaries and good opportunities for career growth.
