Jacquelyn SherrySelect Sires Inc. is pleased to announce the hiring of Jacquelyn Sherry as a communications specialist. Sherry will be responsible for domestic and international visitor programs, the employee newsletter, updating and creating flyers and other promotional materials as well as the crossbreeding directory. She will effectively promote Select Sires genetic programs and services as well as design and produce materials to support the Select Sires brand.

"I am excited to welcome Jacquelyn to the communications team at Select Sires," says Shirley Kaltenbach, director of communications at Select Sires Inc. "Her strong agricultural background and involvement and passion for the dairy industry will be true assets for Select Sires. Jacquelyn will be an excellent addition to our team."

Sherry obtained a bachelor's degree in agricultural communication from The Ohio State University in May 2014. While in college she was an active member of the Buckeye Dairy Club, serving in several leadership positions including president. Sherry was a part of the dairy judging team where she was a member of the high team at the All-American Dairy Show last fall. Sherry is no stranger to Select Sires, serving as the communications intern since August 2012. During her time, she completed the 2014 breeding calendar, assisted with high-components breeds advertising, gathered trade show material and helped with proofing. Sherry is a member of the Ohio Holstein Association and in 2012 she served as the Ohio Holstein Queen.

"After learning so much through my internship, continuing with Select Sires will allow me to combine my passion for genetics, design and the dairy industry," explains Sherry. "I look forward to promoting excellent genetics to customers around the world."
