The Red & White Dairy Cattle Association extends an invitation to all Red & White enthusiasts to attend the 2016 National Red & White Convention. Festivities are scheduled for July 7-9 in Westminster, Maryland. Mark your calendars to attend this year's convention! Deadline to register is June 15, 2016.
Thursday, July 7th: The 2016 National Convention kicks off with a self-guided tour of Glad-Ray Farm. At the end of the day, the National Red and White Queen Interviews will be held followed by a Taste of Maryland Dinner which is hosted by Glad-Ray Farm. The Queen contestants will then do introductions during dinner. Cost to attend Taste of Maryland is $30/adult and $20/child (12 & Under).
Friday, July 8th: The Convention continues with a tour day in Washington D.C. Following the tour, the Official RWDCA Annual Banquet will be held at Pheasant Echo's West. The Annual RWDCA Membership Meeting will be held at 6:00p.m. at the same location. Social hour begins at 6:30p.m. with the Banquet to follow at 7:00p.m. A fun auction will be held following the banquet. The cost for the bus tour of Washington D.C. is $10/adult and $5/child (12 & Under). Cost for the RWDCA Banquet is $20/adult and $10/child (12 & Under). A packaged deal can be purchased for all three events for $50/person.
Saturday, July 9th: The National Red & White Convention concludes with a guided tour of Pheasant-Echo's Farm followed by a Pre-Sale Breakfast. The 47th National Red & White Convention Sale will be held at 10:30a.m. The sale is managed by MD-Hillbrook. An online catalog will be available for your viewing at www.redandwhitecattle.com. Be sure to purchase your raffle ticket for the amazing opportunity to be the winner of a choice of a Red and White heifer. Proceeds go towards the Red & White Albrecht Memorial Scholarship. This is a heifer that anyone would be happy to have bred or potentially own. Be sure to have the winning ticket to add this heifer to your herd!
