Within 10 months of launching resealable plastic milk jugs in the marketplace in 2004, McDonald's saw milk sales double.
These days if you go into a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), you will see resealable plastic milk jugs everywhere. Those plastic jugs are now the marketplace norm.
"It's an example of McDonald's leading the way and others following," said Sally Cummins Healy, who serves as vice president of nutrition research and partnerships for Dairy Management Inc. (DMI)
