Accelerated Genetics is pleased to announce Pam Hendel as Vice President Domestic Sales. In her position, Hendel will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and strategic planning for the dairy sales team across the United States.

Hendel came to Accelerated Genetics (then Tri-State Breeders Cooperative) over 25 years ago as a Herd and Sire Analyst. Her ability to recognize superior quality cattle not only was an asset to her position, but it also made her an excellent resource for the development of the widely respected Accelerated Genetics Intercollegiate Dairy Cattle Judging Contest, having just completed its 23rd year. Hendel’s influence on this committee has helped this annual event grow into a contest of choice for many agricultural colleges across the nation.

Serving the last 18 years as a Regional Sales Manager for portions of the upper Midwest has offered Hendel the opportunity to work closely with Reproduction Services Technicians, District Sales Representatives and Regional Program Specialists growing sales within the area.

“I am excited to have Pam on our executive team. Her knowledge and experience of the A.I. industry will be a tremendous asset to the entire sales team as well as the management staff,” comments Tom Mack, Vice President Business Operations and Finance.

Hendel, her husband, Matt, and his brother, Karl, own Hendel Farms near Caledonia, Minn. In 2013, Pam and Matt were the honored recipients of the Golden Graduate Award by the University of Minnesota Gopher Dairy Club. This award is presented to a University of Minnesota alumnus who has made honorable contributions to the dairy industry. One of those activities is serving as dairy industry mentors to youth and hosting the University of Minnesota's judging teams for over 20 years.

Together, the Hendel family, which also includes daughters, Hannah, Lauren and Sydney enjoy travel, cattle shows, and various sports and dance activities.
