The room will be full and the honors will be abundant.

National Dairy Shrine will host 350 guests at their annual banquet on the grounds of World Dairy Expo on Thursday evening. Executive Director of the National Dairy Shrine, Dave Selner, is proud to announce that 46 college scholarships will be awarded, totaling nearly $60,000.

In addition to young adult awards, five Industry Pioneers will be honored. That list includes Arnold Knight, Frank Kosikowski, Edward Guthrie, Jack Remsberg, and Larry Tande. This year’s Distinguished Dairy Cattle Breeder is Tom and Gin Kestell. Their Ever-Green-View herd is located in Waldo, Wis.

The very first woman to be a NDS Guest of Honor, artist Bonnie Mohr, will be honored.
