Julie Judge has joined Virtus Nutrition as Great Lakes Sales Manager serving dairy producers and nutritionists in the Michigan, Indiana and Ohio dairy market.
Judge, who earned her degree in Animal Science at Michigan State University, will work with nutritionists and dairy producers as they seek to improve herd health, milk and reproductive performance by better balancing fatty acids in their dairy cow diets.
She started making calls for Virtus Nutrition the first week of January and covers a three-state region, which is home to an estimated 820,000 milk cows and more than 7,000 dairy producers.
Prior to joining Virtus Nutrition, Judge worked for 12 years as a Senior Territory Representative for Merck Animal Health with responsibilities for account management and sales of animal health products to dairy producers in the Michigan region. She also designed product business plans, project parameters and strategy for potential business opportunities, including key resource requirements and timelines. During the last four years, she was also Associate Director of Development for the College of Business, Central Michigan University.
