Holstein Canada is pleased to announce the two judges selected to officiate the 2018 National Black and White Holstein Show and 2018 National Red and White l Holstein Show during the 2018 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (RAWF):

2018 National Black and White Holstein Show Judge: Jamie Black, Brushton, NY, USA.

Jamie Black grew up in eastern Ontario at Montdale Holsteins and now lives in Brushton, N.Y., where he owns and operates Opportunity Holsteins and Jerseys with his wife Petra. Over the years, his farm has been home to more than 60 All-American and All-Canadian nominated animals. . Black’s many judging assignments have included shows throughout Eastern Canada, both the Northeast and Eastern Fall National Shows and the All American show. As well, he has served as associate judge for the Junior Show at WDE. Jamie will judge the National Black and White Holstein Show on November 8-9, 2018.

2018 National Red and White Holstein Show Judge: Jack Lomeo Jr., Hermon, NY, USA.

Jack Lomeo Jr. is a Regional Dairy Advisor in the Northeast United States for Cogent Breeding International. He owns approximately 40-45 head of cattle under the Purple Fever prefix. Lomeo has had the honour of judging many different breed shows throughout North America, most recently the Milking Shorthorn Show at World Dairy Expo in 2017. Jack will judge the National Red and White Holstein Show on November 8, 2018.
