Jay Weiker has been named the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Animal Breeders (NAAB) and its subsidiary Certified Semen Services, Inc. (CSS). Jay served as Vice-President for NAAB the previous 2 years and now has accepted the overall leadership role of President as of January 1, 2017. He will be based out of the new NAAB office in Madison, WI.
Jay will work closely with the NAAB and CSS Boards of Directors in leading the trade association. He will direct and supervise the NAAB staff in carrying out activities to promote and develop artificial insemination (AI) and the cattle breeding industry in the U.S.

Sattler, chairman of the Board of Directors. “Jay brings a wealth of AI business knowledge both domestically and internationally as well as a lifetime of experience in the cattle breeding industry to his new position. He is a great asset to the association and we look forward to his contributions to the continued growth of the AI industry”.
Jay is a native of Ohio and was very active in 4-H and FFA in his early years. He received a B.S. in Agriculture from The Ohio State University and a M. B. A. from Purdue University. Throughout his career, Jay has served the cattle industry in marketing roles with World Wide Sires, Dekker North America and ABS Global. Prior to joining NAAB, Jay was based in Australia as the Business Director for ABS Asia. Jay joined the staff of NAAB in September 2014 and returned to the USA.
Jay and his wife Mary will continue to reside in Middleton, WI. They have three grown sons.
NAAB is the national trade association for artificial insemination businesses in the U.S. NAAB members account for about 95% of dairy semen sold in the U.S. and market semen to more than 100 countries around the world.
