Eloc Wagor Kandid, the Senior Champion exhibited by Ken Main and Peter Vail, of Copake, N.Y., was named All-American Grand Champion Brown Swiss on Wednesday, Sept. 17, during the 2014 All-American Dairy Show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.

Main and Vail also earned Reserve Grand Champion Brown Swiss with Cutting Edge B Gretchen. Gretchen earned Reserve Senior Champion honors prior to the champion drive from judge David Sprengler, of Plato, Minn.

They also exhibited the Junior Champion Brown Swiss, Top Acres Peppy Wizella, and the Intermediate Champion Brown Swiss, Cutting Edge Status Sue.

Mike Barton, of Ancramdale, N.Y., received reserve intermediate champion honors with Fairdale Elite Debra. Lauri Beggs of Ogdensburg, N.Y., took home Reserve Champion Junior Brown Swiss with Cutting Edge Thunder Faye.

The 2014 All-American Dairy Show features 22 shows in six days in addition to the nation's only all-dairy antiques show. Last year's event featured nearly 2,800 animals and more than 1,300 exhibitors from across the nation. The week caps off with the 58th Pennsylvania Dairy Princess Pageant on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Radisson Hotel Camp Hill.
