For the first time in many years, the Holstein Association USA will raise prices on some of its products and services, effective February 1, 2016. Those members enrolled in Holstein COMPLETE®, the Association's premier package program for convenience and savings, will see no increase in prices. While the costs of doing business have increased considerably over the years, the Association has held the line on prices. For example, the membership fee was last increased in 1994.
Registration rates have not increased in 13 years, and prices for classification have not changed since 2011. Holstein COMPLETE program prices will remain at the same level they were when the program was introduced in 2002.
Even with the new registration prices, it is less expensive to register U.S. Holsteins than it is to register any other breed of dairy cattle in the United States and Canada. The new pricing schedule is outlined below.
