PDPW LogoMaximizing udder health and milk quality go hand in hand with increased profits. On Jan. 6, the Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW) will bring a webinar offering strategies to assist with optimizing milk quality. This webinar, featuring Dr. Pamela Ruegg, DVM, professor and extension milk quality specialist in the Department of Dairy Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is titled "Treatment Update: 5 Keys to Maximizing Results of Clinical Mastitis Treatments".

In this final session of the three-part series of World Class Webinars offered by PDPW on Mastitis Management, Dr. Ruegg will describe the benefits of administering antibiotics when fighting mastitis and how correct administration of antibiotics can lead to more efficient and effective mastitis treatment. Specifically, she will highlight the five key factors to consider before enacting a treatment protocol for a cow with clinical mastitis.

The webinar is open to all dairy producers and dairy industry professionals. Registration is due by December 30. Pre-registration is required and allows participants to watch the webinar live on the designated date and time, or watch the recorded session at their convenience. One paid registration gives as many people as you can gather around a computer access to watch the webinar.
