Lallemand Animal Nutrition announces first scholarship recipients


More than 100 students apply for Lallemand Forward Scholarship



Lallemand LogoWith more than 100 submissions, Lallemand Animal Nutrition is pleased to announce its first five Lallemand Forward Scholarship recipients.

Brittany Casperson is the recipient of the Graduate/PhD scholarship, receiving $3,000. Casperson is currently working on her PhD at Purdue University, with research focusing on improving the digestibility of low-quality forage sources for lactating dairy cows.

The four undergraduate scholarship recipients, who will each receive $2,500, are as follows:

  • Luke Fuerniss, studying Animal Science at Colorado State University

  • Sarah Krueger, studying Animal Sciences and Industry and Microbiology at Kansas State University

  • Caitlin Ohnoutka, studying Animal Sciences and Industry at Kansas State University

  • Clayton Carley, studying Crop Science: Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology Concentration and Agricultural Science Education at the University of Illinois-Urbana.
