Updated app features new tools to improve nutritionists' ease of use and time savings.

"Since its launch, FeedScan has really revolutionized the way nutritionist and producer users approach feedstuff sample submission by offering them more time to consult and manage," explains Zac Meyer, director of operations for Rock River Laboratory. "As Rock River Laboratory has committed to be a game changer in this industry, we also realize the need to continually improve the tools we can offer FeedScan being no exception."
The updated, free FeedScan app includes new time-saving features, including autocomplete to select farm names faster, and a profile-saving function to save selections to make future sample submissions only a few quick screen taps. Convenience was also a key factor in the app update development. To reduce human error, a new, optional review screen is available to examine the selected information before submitting a sample, along with the ability to send test results directly to any e-mail address in the app user's phone book, right from FeedScan app.
FeedScan offers two standard options for sample submission - through barcode scan or via the patent-pending sample code generation function, to identify the sample through the submission process. The app also offers a quick link to the Rock River Laboratory website for users to easily access their laboratory results at their fingertips. FeedScan's capability to save sample submissions while offline and submit while online, combined with submission confirmation, provides customers a fail-safe means to confidently submit samples via the app.
FeedScan is available for download at the App Store (search FeedScan) and in Google Play. For app instructions, time-saving tips and other tools, visit the FeedScan Resource Center at http://bit.ly/FeedScanResources.
