SCR Engineers Ltd today announced the appointment of Thomas Wu as SCR China General Manager, marking a new stage in SCR's continued growth in the fast-developing China dairy industry. Thomas joins SCR from Tyco Flow Control, where he was in charge of marketing in China. As the leader of SCR's business in China, Thomas will manage SCR's fast-growing local team of professionals responsible for project management, sales, marketing, field service, logistics and professional service. Thomas will drive SCR's business growth, ensuring customer satisfaction and developing a strong SCR organization in the rapidly growing China dairy market. From his base in Beijing, Thomas will manage the SCR China team and work closely with SCR's global team and channel partners in China to expand SCR's presence and service key Chinese dairy customers.
SCR has been active in China for the past few years, with its own operations and a growing distribution network. More than 100,000 SCR cow monitoring tags were sold in China last year and sales are increasing rapidly, demonstrating the huge potential that the local dairy market holds for SCR.

Prior to taking up his position at SCR, Thomas worked with Tyco Flow Control, first as China Business Development Director Mining & Metal and then as China Marketing Director. Previously, he held various marketing, business development and strategic planning positions at industrial companies Danaher, Ingersoll Rand and Emerson Electric. Thomas holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a BSc from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
