At its December 12 meeting, the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board appointed Kevin Walleser, a dairy producer from De Soto, Wis., to serve as Interim District 21 Director on the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) representing Vernon and Crawford counties.

The appointment was made to fill a board seat vacancy that occurred earlier this fall. Walleser will complete the remainder of this three-year term on the Board, which runs through June 30, 2013. During the regular election period in spring 2013, District 21 is one of the eight WMMB director seats that will be up for election. The WMMB Board of Directors is comprised of 25 dairy producer-directors who set WMMB policies and procedures, supervise business affairs and approve annual budgets.
