Zinpro Corporation recently announced the addition of John Pocock as public relations specialist global. In this newly created role, he will be responsible for developing, writing and editing content for company communications, conducting media relations activities, as well as monitoring and reporting results related to communications activities. He will also support the planning, implementation and evaluation of public relations and corporate communications initiatives.For more than 20 years, Pocock has worked in areas related to agriculture and communication. Most recently, he worked for a variety of agricultural publications as a freelance writer and photographer. He has also served as a communications director for a non-profit organization and worked for various companies as associate editor, field editor and public affairs counselor.
Pocock earned bachelor's degrees in communication and German from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., and a master's degree in agricultural journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is located at the company's global headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minn., and reports to Ronda Pick, communications manager global, Zinpro Corporation.
