Linney Joins Maryland & Virginia's Executive Team
Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers is pleased to welcome Brian Linney as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Linney will be responsible for marketing finished products from Maryland & Virginia's three fluid processing plants and dairy ingredients from the co-op's two manufacturing plants. He will be based out of the cooperative's Reston, Va. office and will report to CEO Jay Bryant."We're thrilled to have someone with Brian's expertise join our ranks," said CEO Jay Bryant. "He brings a new dimension to our executive team."
"I first met Brian through our involvement on the MilkPEP board," Bryant said. "I value his fresh perspective on dairy product marketing and experience working with national customer accounts. I look forward to what we can accomplish with our Marva Maid and Maola brands and ingredient lines with Brian on board."
Linney has more than 14 years of experience in the dairy industry based in the Pacific Northwest. Most recently he worked as the Senior Vice President of Consumer Products for Darigold, Inc. in Seattle, Wash. He and his wife Amy have been married for 27 years and have three grown children.
"I'm excited about this new adventure into dairy product marketing on the East Coast and applying my background to a more fluid-focused marketplace," Linney said.
