Travel Opportunities:
Through various courses, Clubs, and other activities, approximately 10 field trips are made per year. Students also travel to Dairy Challenge, Purebred Cattle Association Meetings, Dairy Producer Meetings, Dairy Workshops, and Field trips. They routinely have students spending part of their education studying abroad.
Additional Information:
Washington State University maintains a teaching herd that is entirely managed by the Cooperative University Dairy Student Group. They also provide almost all labor for the herd. The Dairy Club is one of two clubs that regularly attend and actively participate in the American Dairy Science Association Annual meeting, Student Affiliate Division. The Dairy Club is an active service group and the students participate in the Western Regional and National Dairy Challenge.
