World Classic Holstein Sale

On Wednesday, October 2, the Top of the World Jersey Sale was the first to drop the gavel of the week at World Dairy Expo. South Mountain Andreas Radical-ET topped the sale at $12,250 and was consigned by Ernest Kueffner and Terri Packard. Radical was purchased by Will and Mark Iager. The sale was managed by Jersey Marketing Service.

The World Ayrshire Event sale was held on Wednesday, October 2 with 14 lots. The high seller sold for $9,600. It was a pick of a flush from Palmyra Predator B Ruthless-ET. The sale averaged $4,183 and was co-managed by Tradition Auction Services and Ayrshire Breeders Association.

On Thursday, October 3, the World Premier Brown Swiss Sale averaged $4,642 on 28 live lots. Two lots tied for high seller at $8,500. Lot 1 was Nor-Bert Biver Sassy and lot 6C was a first choice Carter female from Top Acres Garbo Wanda-ET. The sale was managed by Brown Swiss Enterprises.

Many came from all over on Friday night, October 4 for the World Classic Sale. It was the sale’s 31st anniversary, and the 47 Holstein lots averaged $28,314 with buyers from 10 states and three countries. Aardema Final Victory captured the title of high seller with $145,000. She was consigned by Twinridge Genetics and purchased by ABS Global. Victory is a June 2019 calf sired by Fustead S-S-I Solution-ET and has a GTPI of 2871.

The second high seller was Sandy-Valley Secret for $95,000. She sold as lot 18 consigned by Sandy Valley Farms and was purchased by ABS Global. Secret is a July 2019 calf sired by Pine-Tree CW Legacy-ET with a GTPI of 2862 and traces back to Snow-N Denises Dellia.

Following Secret as the third high seller for $90,000, BGP Noble Anissa 652 was consigned by Bovine Genomic Partners and purchased by Select Sires, Inc. She is the number one Net Merit $ daughter of Mr Spring Noble-ET and is from the Wesswood-HC Rudy Missy 3E-92 family.

At the end of the night, the sale grossed $1,330,750. It was managed by Tom Morris Ltd.
