AWA Breakfast on the Farm: Where Families & Agriculture Meet

The Association of Women in Agriculture (AWA) will be
hosting its 19th annual "Breakfast on the Farm" on Sunday, April 27,
2014 on the UW-Madison's campus in the Stock Pavilion at 1675 Linden Drive. This
year our theme is "AWA Breakfast on the Farm: Where Families & Agriculture
Meet." Join us for a farm fresh meal while learning about the agricultural
industry. This country setting will include a petting zoo, educational
activities, and during breakfast enjoy a visit from Bucky Badger, live Polka
music, and a clogging performance.

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Admission
is $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens (65+), $5 for students (K-UW), $3 for
children ages 5 and under. Receive one dollar off admission when you bring
three canned food items to donate to the Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern
Wisconsin.

AWA is a non-profit, professional, service, and social
organization on the UW-Madison's campus. With over 90 members, students have
the opportunity to share their agricultural experiences with the community,
collect food and clothing for local shelters and volunteer in educational
agricultural events for youth. AWA's emphasis on service creates the
opportunity for young women to improve their leadership and communication
skills, while becoming voices within their own communities.
