Robot Ready Sires Now Available from Semex
Semex is pleased to announce the launch of Robot Ready sires. These Semex sires are identified as being Robot Ready' through a revolutionary index specifically designed to match the needs and pace of today's ever-changing dairy industry. "Robotic milking systems have been in the USA for over a decade, and more and more of our customers are choosing them as a solution on their dairies," says Paul Krueger, Director, Sales & Business Development, United States. "Semex identified that these producers, and really any producer with a parlor set-up, need cows suited for their dairy's technology."
To accomplish this goal, Semex's senior geneticists have created an index that identifies code 200 bulls that will sire daughters possessing traits that are profitable in automated environments. Animal productivity, disease resistance and also the functional type traits that are highly correlated to milking ease are all considered in this index.
