UC-Davis Alfalfa Field DayYou're invited! Alfalfa Field Day – May 9, UC Davis.

Please join us on the Agronomy Farm from Noon through about 3:45 on May 9 on the UC Davis campus. See Schedule below. Includes A Terrific Barbeque is offered at Noon (compliments CCIA), and FABULOUS PRIZES for the Weed ID Contest in the afternoon. This year, we'll have several speakers on pest management (weeds, vertebrate pests, varieties), on grower and research experience with buried drip in alfalfa, alfalfa stand establishment and variety selection, weed identification, in addition to biofuel topics: camelina, canola as biofuels. The Small Grains group is holding its field day the same day from 8:15 a.m. through Noon. Registration for that begins at 8 a.m. with donuts and coffee.
