Larry NelsonThe Wisconsin Holstein Association is pleased to announce the hiring of Larry Nelson as the Member Services Manager at the Wisconsin Holstein Association. As part of Larry's new role, he will begin to spearhead a number of WHA activities and bolster the member service areas.

Over the past nine years, Larry has developed an extensive business background both in the dairy industry and outside of the agriculture community. He started his career at Semex USA as the Excell-GM Marketing Program Coordinator. From there he migrated on to be the E-Commerce Content Coordinator for Kohls.com, a Marketing Manager at Parts Now! and most recently a Marketing Supervisor with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Larry graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Journalism and Dairy Science.

"Larry is a motivated person with a great business mind. He is very customer orientated, and he will certainly have a fresh approach when evaluating our organization. He has helped develop and maintain sales websites leading to double-digit sales growth, increased customer databases and bolstered email databases, as well as their open rates. These skills will be greatly beneficial to the Association," stated Corey Geiger, WHA Board President.

"I'm looking forward to meeting and working with all the members of the Association. I'm diving in and looking to develop and grow programs that will help drive the WI Holstein Association for years to come," stated Nelson.

Larry grew up on a Registered Holstein farm, Thimble-Peak Holsteins, in Ettrick, Wis., and served on the Junior Activities Committee as a Junior member. He will be based out of the office in Baraboo.
