Dairy industry tour: each year students arrange and travel (either in state or out of state) to learn more about the dairy industry. In 2013, students went to California and Southern Oregon.
Additional Information:
OSU farm and dairy processing facilities are immediately adjacent to campus. We have also opened a new Animal Sciences teaching facility in Fall 2012. We offer opportunities in dairy production, processing, food safety, disease treatment and prevention, and research at the applied and cellular level with an emphasis on forage/local feed-based production systems.
