Michael Gehin, Baraboo, Wis. joins the Accelerated Genetics Sales Team. In the newly developed Dairy Product Manager role, Gehin will be responsible for managing dairy inventory, sorted semen scheduling, coordinate bull movements, and assembling large herd bids. He will also work with the Communications team in developing the domestic market advertising campaigns. Gehin will be based out of Accelerated Genetics Administrative Office in Baraboo, Wis.Gehin grew-up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. He has a marketing degree as well as a University of Wisconsin Madison Short Course farming certificate. After graduating, he went on to manage his family's 200-cow dairy where they were successful in marketing bulls to numerous A.I. organizations and selling females. In 2010 and 2011, their herd won the Progressive Genetics Award from the Holstein Association.
In his spare time, Gehin enjoys coaching the traveling baseball and basketball teams. He and his wife, Cheryl, have three children, Madeline, Ryan, and Derek.1.19.2015
