Family Dairies USA, the milk marketing division of FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative, welcomes Deanna Malin to their team as a field representative.

“We are excited to welcome Deanna to the Family Dairies USA team. She brings an optimistic attitude along with a passion for dairy,” says Norbert Hardtke, Family Dairies USA Director of Milk Marketing. “Having worked on multiple dairy farms, Deanna understands the hard work that goes into dairy farming. I have no doubt that she will work hard to serve our patrons well.”

Malin grew up in Walworth, Wis., and became involved with dairy during her time participating in FFA. Her experience ignited a passion and led her to pursue a degree in Dairy Science which she received in 2013 from UW-Platteville.

After graduation, Malin worked on various dairy operations as a farm manager along with milking and managing calves. Most recently she served as a field representative for the National Farmers Organization.

“I’m most looking forward to getting to know the producers. They are the driving force of the cooperative,” Malin states. “I have a passion for this industry and look forward to helping our farmers at Family Dairies USA to be successful while making sure their voice is being heard.”

Malin began her role with Family Dairies USA on July 30, and will be serving dairy farmers in northeastern Wisconsin along with the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As Malin transitions into her new role, Family Dairies USA congratulates Bill Burri on his retirement from the cooperative.
