In this position, she will develop and maintain media relationships to support the business strategies and objectives of BASF Plant Science. "Megan brings a wealth of knowledge from her broad experience in the agricultural industry, having worked at a public relations agency, an agricultural association and a major seed company," said Fran Castle, BASF Plant Science group communications senior manager. "We are thrilled to have her join our team, and know that her vast experience will be a true asset to BASF Plant Science." Lybrand has more than eight years of agricultural communications experience. Prior to joining BASF Plant Science, she served as a communication manager for Pioneer Hi-Bred. Lybrand's past experience also includes work on agricultural accounts with public relations firm Gibbs & Soell, Inc. as well as communications with the North Carolina Agribusiness Council. Lybrand graduated from North Carolina State University with bachelor's degrees in Communications and History.
