Berg + Schmidt America, LLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Johnny Lopez, PhD as National Sales and Technical Manager. Johnny has more than 20 years of leadership in the industry and has previously held positions ranging from Business Unit Sales Manager to Regional Director and Vice President. With this senior experience, Johnny has a proven knowledge base with a diverse range of species and sectors including swine, poultry, aqua, petfood and ruminates. This robust species experience compliments his product and technical experience and will be instrumental in moving Berg + Schmidt forward throughout the U.S. with key product lines that include: BergaFat bypass fat, BergaPur lecithins and LipoVital medium chain triglycerides.
Dr. Lopez earned his PhD degree and his masters from the University of Missouri with a focus on monogastric nutrition. Extensive work experience with companies such as Purina Mills, ADM, Lonza and most recently, EW Nutrition, equips Johnny to clearly communicate technical and product benefits to core target customers. “Johnny is well respected in our industry and will be a very valuable asset to Berg + Schmidt customers”, says Chad Risley, CEO.
