Dr. Don Höglund

MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) announces an exciting collaborative agreement between Dr. Don Höglund, DVM, and the firm’s Agricultural Services team, offering animal behavior, safe and efficient animal handling, animal and human interaction consultation, and on-farm skills workshop services to farmers and MSA agricultural clients across the Midwest.

Dr. Höglund first began collaborating with MSA’s Agricultural Services team in April, 2019, and has since been consulting with farms and agricultural businesses of all sizes in the design of farm layouts and infrastructure, the management of robotic milking barns and education about the sustainable health and welfare of animals. Together, the agricultural engineers at MSA and Dr. Höglund are committed to helping farmers work smarter, not harder – developing systems for the efficient long-term well-being of farms, animals, and farm communities.

Dr. Höglund is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University. He holds a master’s degree in agriculture economics and a bachelor’s degree in animal science and microbiology with a concentration in cattle production and farm/ranch management – all from Colorado State University. Additionally, he is the founder of International Veterinary Consultants, which provides education and training to vet and animal care programs about sustainable health and welfare. Dr. Höglund is currently collaborating with Fox Structures, based in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, to provide consulting services to agricultural clients undergoing farm building and remodeling projects and constructing innovative handling products in order to accommodate animal learning and well-being.
