Ben Saylor will focus on helping producers address microbial challenges

Reinforcing its commitment to the industry, Arm & Hammer Animal and Food Production adds Benjamin (Ben) Saylor to its team of experts providing science-based solutions to dairy and beef producers. As ruminant technical services manager, Saylor will specialize in on-farm microbial challenges and their control, working alongside the ARM & HAMMER™ sales and research teams to help producers understand their needs and maximize their investments.

“Ben joins our team with strong technical expertise in silage and forage management combined with on-farm and field extension experience,” says Dr. Elliot Block, ARM & HAMMER research fellow and director of research. “His experience and research background will be valuable to our team as we bring solutions to producers looking to assess and improve herd resilience.”

Saylor joins ARM & HAMMER from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he continues to serve as a graduate research assistant while completing his doctorate in dairy science. He obtained a Master of Science in animal sciences from Kansas State University and completed a Bachelor of Science in animal sciences at the University of Arizona. In addition, Saylor’s industry experience includes technical and nutrition consulting support roles at Quality Liquid Feeds and Dairy Visions, LLC.
