Topcon Positioning Group has announced the availability of Inbound Tracker — the latest addition to its robust precision feeding solution set — in the United States.

Designed to allow producers to easily monitor, track and export feed deliveries, Inbound Tracker can connect with almost any existing platform truck scale. Comprised of a 15.5 inch touchscreen display as the primary interface, 9-character external display and remote transmitters for efficiency, Inbound Tracker provides an easy approach to managing feed deliveries and harvest weights.

Using the touchscreen interface, producers can easily manage trucks, commodities, fields and delivery locations, as well as re-assign truck origins and unloading destinations. The included remote transmitters provide the ability to log each truck with a press of a button and export into TMR Tracker™ — Topcon’s Windows® based feed management system — for real-time, up-to-date inventories.

The solution enables an easy approach to tracking inbound deliveries and even includes a laser printer to easily print hard records.

“Inbound Tracker allows producers to easily manage every aspect of feed delivery, right to the moment it arrives on site,” said Brian Sorbe, VP, Topcon Agriculture. “The solution is also fully integrated into Topcon’s legacy TMR Tracker feed management system, making Inbound Tracker the next step for dairy and livestock producers who understand the time, material and cost savings benefits of going completely digital.”

About TMR Tracker feed management software

TMR Tracker offers operators additional management tools including; operator control, pen review, online feed data exchange with nutritionists, ingredient tracking and numerous reports. Operators can simply enter feed ingredients, rations, production groups, and mixer information into the TMR Tracker software. RF DataLink (wireless) or USB (memory device) is used to transfer feeding instructions to the indicator on the feed mixer.

The indicator displays the ingredients to be loaded, their weight, as well as the corresponding pen information. During feeding, the actual weights of loaded ingredients and fed ration are saved and returned via DataLink™ or USB. TMR Tracker software generates various detailed reports including Dry Matter Intake and Income over Feed Costs on a per-pen basis.
