About the author and illustrator:

Louise Malecha is “Nana” to her grandchildren. She grew up on a dairy farm with her thirteen siblings. With her husband, Todd, they raised seven children in the agricultural lifestyle, teaching them strong work ethic and leadership. She now enjoys brightening her grandchildren’s imaginations by showing and teaching them activities on their farming operation as she did her own children.

Katelynn Malecha is the daughter of Louise Malecha. She grew up working, playing, and occasionally getting into mischief with her six siblings on the farm. She continues to be a part of the family operation, and photography, graphic design and agriculture are some of her strong passions.
